Terms and Conditions

  • You are welcome to register with BRPL provided that you accept the terms below. You must be registered before we can arrange a viewing.
  • There is NO CHARGE for registering or for viewing any properties.
  • I/We agree to pay BRPL an agreed agency fee immediately upon acceptance of any accommodation provided either directly or indirectly by BRPL. This fee applies even if the property you accept is different from the one you viewed, provided that it is from the same Landlord that BRPL introduced you to.
  • I/We understand that for non-Student properties, BRPL charge a standard agency fee of 40% of a full month's rent, subject to a normal minimum fee of £175. The agency fee is not subject to VAT.
  • I/We understand that the agency fee is not refundable if the application is rejected because of the credit check or referencing or if I/we withdraw. However if the landlord does not proceed for any other reason then this fee will be refunded less £100.
  • I/We understand that accommodation applied for will continue to be advertised as available until the agency fee has been paid in full.
  • I/We declare that the above information is correct.
  • I/We undertake to verify the contents and any other points of particular importance. BRPL endeavour to make their details accurate and reliable, giving a fair description of properties and their contents, but cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.
  • I/We understand that any Bank or Credit reference check that may be required will be an additional charge (currently £30) at my/our expense.
  • Disclosure of referencing: I/we understand that landlords receive all relevant facts, regardless of whether the applicant has met or failed to meet the referencing criteria.
  • I/we understand and agree that if a Guarantor is required an additional fee of £30 per Guarantor is payable and is not refundable for any reason.
